There many different careers that work with people with disabilities, some require a small amount of study & training and other will require a lot study and training.

May I suggest you do some voluntary work at a special needs school or disability holiday program to give you a feel for the work, gain experience etc. And might help you choose which field you want to go into.
I have worked with people young and old for over 16 years, in the school setting, the home and in specialized programs for the disabled. I love the work, it has been incredibly rewarding, sometimes sad & frustrating (rarely the clients, it usually the system that is meant to support them).
Very few of these jobs will make you a lot of money, however the more qualifications and experience you have the better your wage.
